FirstLight Energy held an open house in Blind River on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Blind River Community Centre to provide information and answer questions from the public regarding the company’s proposed Pathfinder Wind Project. 

The company is owned by PSP Investments, a Canadian government-owned group that manages more than $300 billion CAD dedicated to public sector pension plans including the RCMP, the Canadian Forces including the reserve forces, as well as the public sector. The organization operates and supplies clean energy across North America. With 250 employees having a combined experience in renewable energy the company has more than 100 years of combined experience. The open house was sparsely attended.
