CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two big projects are set to be unveiled on Cleveland’s near West Side Saturday -- a newly renovated park in the Stockyards neighborhood, and a public-art project that created murals and sculptures strewn across the Clark-Fulton area.
Both events are set to take place at about the same time, with Storer Park’s ribbon-cutting set for 11:30 a.m., while the Art Garden Festival starts at noon at the corner of Storer Avenue and West 50th Street.
Storer Park has undergone a $350,000 redesign that includes a recreational field, along with a new trail around the perimeter of the park that leads into a new play area and shaded picnic area, according to a press release.
Funding for the park renovations includes $200,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act and is part of $8 million
