Thomas Tuchel has insisted he is not currently considering recalling Mason Greenwood to the England squad.

Greenwood, who now plays for French club Marseille, was handed his only senior England cap against Iceland in 2020 – later sent home along with Phil Foden after breaking Covid quarantine protocols.

The former Manchester United star is exploring switching allegiances to Jamaica, qualifying for the national team through his grandfather.

Jamaica head coach Steve McClaren revealed this week Greenwood has obtained a Jamaican passport ahead of the switch but the forward has asked for more time to determine his international future – leaving the door open for a potential return to the England set-up.
