Local public radio station KPCW is hosting the on-air portion of its summer pledge drive starting the week of Monday, Sept. 8, with the goal of raising more than $350,000.
From Monday to Thursday, dozens of guests representing local nonprofits and businesses will join KPCW in studio and on the radio to share ways the station partners with them. They will also detail why KPCW matters to the community and list the benefits it provides the Wasatch Back in hopes of helping raise the funds that support KPCW all year.
Funds raised during the pledge drive support KPCW’s programming and daily operations, which include weekday morning interviews with local elected officials, public health experts, area school districts, business leaders and nonprofit organizations in the community.
