August 25, 1962 – August 28, 2025 Tamara Ann Schwalbe (Denney), lovingly known as Tami, returned home to her Heavenly Father on August 28, 2025, at the age of 63, after a courageous two+ year battle with brain cancer.

Tami was born in Fullerton, California, and soon after, moved with her family to Chico, California. She graduated from Chico High School where she was an outstanding cross country and track & field athlete. She continued running in college while also earning her bachelor’s & master’s degrees in Physical Education, from Chico State University.
