HAWTHORNE – A man was hospitalized after being shot in the parking lot of a McDonald’s restaurant late Thursday night.

The Daily Breeze is reporting that the 20-year-old man was shot at the location in the 3500 block of W. Rosecrans Ave., about 9:20 p.m.

Video from OnScene TV, a freelance news organization that sometimes works with the Southern California News Group, shows police inspecting the shell casings near a handicap stall in the parking lot. One officer led a K9 around a small portion of the lot.
