The North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit has made an arrest in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Members of the Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop on the accused in the Marshall Avenue area Thursday around 12:38 p.m.

As part of an ongoing investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. The investigation determined that the accused was actively trafficking controlled substances in North Bay. During an initial search, officers located $1,990 in Canadian currency and a small quantity of fentanyl.
