A video of the arrest of a 33-year-old man at the encampment near downtown Kitchener, Ont., has raised concerns with some community members, but police say the video and comments being made about it are "misleading and inaccurate."

Police officers were at the encampment at the intersection of Weber Street and Victoria Street on Friday, Aug. 29. The Waterloo Regional Police Service says the officers arrived at the encampment after they received multiple reports of a man in the area with a handgun.
