WASHINGTON, D.C. - As top legislative Republicans gathered this week to market the Trump administration’s signature spending package, Michigan’s highest-ranking Congressional Republican also took a moment to criticize Democrats.

U.S. Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Bruce Township, said Democrats opposed to President Donald Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. are defending “gang members, thieves and lawbreakers.”
