MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - This week’s Pets with Potential come from Homeward Bound of Addison County.

Abby is a 7-year-old dog with a happy smile and an intelligent nature. Staff say she’s an excellent puzzle toy solver and will find ways to play fetch by herself in the yard.

She needs a family that will give her the mental stimulation she craves and ideally a fenced-in yard. She has done well with kids, but should be the only pet in the home.

Harley is a one-year-old pup described by staff as happy and wiggly. She loves tennis balls and the outdoors and would prefer a yard to roam around in. She’s not yet leash-trained, but staff say she’s very food motivated and willing to learn. She’s done well with other pets and older kids in the past.
