SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Fargo Force picked up their second convincing victory in two games, this time beating Tri-City 6-2 in USHL preseason play on Friday afternoon at Tyson Events Center.
Forward Zac Zimmerman, who played on Moorhead's state high school championship team last season, scored a first-period goal then had an assist on the next two Force tallies.
Defenseman Graham Greeder and forward Saxton Tess scored twice, including each netting an empty-netter late in the third. Greeder also had an assist on Zimmerman's goal.
Luke McNamera and Kiernan Poulin added two assists for Fargo. Tucker Lyndaker had the other Fargo goal.
Ajay White allowed one goal on 13 shots while Alan Lendak stopped 15 of 16 shots.
