Rain and storms will give way to clouds and cool temps Saturday It was a warm finish to the week across Central and Eastern Kentucky as a southwest flow ahead of an approaching cold front helped to push afternoon highs all the way back into the mid-80s on Friday. The front will trigger another round of rain and storms heading into Friday night with the potential of a few strong storms during the evening hours especially across the southern and southeastern parts of the commonwealth.

It may be a damp and dreary start on Saturday as scattered showers will be possible through the morning hours with some moisture lingering behind the front.
