PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police say a motorcyclist is dead after a crash in north Phoenix on Friday morning.

Phoenix police were called out around 11:30 a.m. to the area of 64th Street and Thunderbird Road on reports of a motorcycle crash.

When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist, identified only as a man, unresponsive. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Aerial video captured by Arizona’s Family showed one motorcycle in the middle lane divider while another was off the side of the road.

Police said the driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene, and detectives are on the way to gather more evidence and learn more about what led up to the crash.
