The Michigan Wolverines made some headlines last Saturday before their game against New Mexico, as running backs coach Tony Alford called and offered 2027 five-star athlete Myson Johnson-Cook as he was in the stands at the Ohio State-Texas game. It was a bold move, even if it was unintentional (that’s what it sounded like, at least).

Michigan went back on the recruiting trail on Friday afternoon to extend an offer to 2027 four-star offensive lineman Jackson Roper. The funny thing here is that the 6-foot-5, 285-pounder from Englewood, Colorado will actually be in Norman tomorrow night for the Michigan vs Oklahoma game.
