BURLINGTON — The Seattle, Washington, woman who is accused of gunning down a U.S. Border Patrol Agent in northern Vermont in January, pleaded not guilty in federal court Friday to a new indictment that could net her the death penalty.
Teresa Youngblut, 21, denied the four felony charges, including the fatal shooting of veteran Border Patrol Agent David “Chris” Maland during a traffic stop in the Northeast Kingdom community of Coventry on Jan. 20.
