YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Owners of a downtown Youngstown lounge may have heard the recent criticism from city leaders and made some changes.
There is a new sign out front of what had been the Hookah Lounge on West Commerce Street. It's now the Sandbar and Grill.
Six weeks ago, Mayor Tito Brown and Police Chief Carl Davis called out the establishment because of rowdy crowds and other problems, threatening to have them shut down if they didn't change.
Friday, Brown said the owners are now emphasizing a more family-friendly atmosphere with games and radio-controlled cars for kids.
Police say they haven't had any problems since.
