Hotel Viking is expected to lay off over 100 employees in November as the property undergoes renovations.

“The majority of the facility will close due to the renovations, and as a result, employees working at the resort will be laid off,” states the notification letter from Celeste Colon, the director of human resources at Hotel Viking. “We intend to re-open the property, but we cannot currently predict when that will occur due to the potential for supply chain problems and weather delays, among other things. We encourage you to return or re-apply when we re-open the hotel.”
