MOORHEAD — Two suspects are in custody at the Clay County Jail after an early morning assault in Moorhead on Friday, Sept. 5.

Officers responded to a report of several people actively assaulting a male victim in the 1100 block of Belsly Boulevard just before 4 a.m., according to a release from the Moorhead Police Department.

Upon arrival, the suspects had fled, but officers located a victim with "significant injuries" from the physical assault, the release said. The victim was transported by Sanford Ambulance to a local hospital, where the full extent of his injuries, though not life-threatening, are still being evaluated, according to police.
