FARGO — Some of the advertising world's most famous mascots came to life in downtown Fargo, when Budweiser parked three semi-truck trailers on Second Avenue North and unloaded eight Clydesdale horses.
A horse is a horse, of course, of course ... but when it comes to Budweiser Clydesdales, they might just be more famous than the famous Mr. Ed. The beer giant long ago made the horses part of their brand and maintains three touring groups of horses that includes seven full-time handlers and 10 horses traveling the country, though only eight are hitched up to the wagon at a time.
