A new online marketplace offers hundreds of West Virginia-made, shelf-stable items, farm goods and handcrafted products for wholesale purchase.
The Appalachian Cellar has more than 330 value-added products for sale from more than 30 producers located throughout the state. Part of the Mountain State Co-Hop, a member-owned cooperative, Appalachian Cellar is supported by a federal USDA grant.
Matt Welsch, executive chef for West Virginia State Parks, is a brand ambassador for Appalachian Cellar, which he said aligns with his mission in both life and work.
