FRANKSTON, Texas (KLTV) - The Frankston Indians pulled off another big win Thursday night, this time blanking Huntington 59-0.
A win over Huntington typically isn’t considered “big,” but the Red Devils may have been upset-minded coming off their first win in three years.
Frankston’s Carson Bizzell scored three touchdowns in the first half alone.
The Red Devils looked to have pulled off a big play as time ran out in the first half, as Roman Knight caught a tipped pass that was up for grabs. But Knight fumbled it and Frankston’s Bradley Gould picked it up and zigzagged back and forth across the field, 90 yards for the score.
Frankston led 45-0 at the half.
Frankston (2-0) travels to Grapeland in Week 3. Huntington (1-1) will host Kountze.
