LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Warm and humid conditions will settle in overnight as temperatures hold in the 70s. Saturday will begin with quiet and sunny weather as temperatures heat fast. By lunchtime, an approaching front will trigger spotty showers and thunderstorms that will stick around through the afternoon hours. Highs reach near 90. A few storms will be possible once again Sunday as the front moves through the area.
