RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and one organization is making a significant impact in the fight to save young lives.

Hyundai Hope on Wheel s has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to fund pediatric cancer research, and its mission goes beyond survival—it’s about helping kids thrive.

At just two years old, Emmy Cole faced a battle most of us can’t imagine. Her parents noticed she had back pain and rushed her to the hospital.

”We rushed to Seattle Children’s Hospital, where I was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma cancer and given only a 50% chance of surviving," cancer survivor Emmy Cole said.
