PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) - Petersburg officials are asking everyone in the city to conserve water until further notice.

They say this is due to an “unexpected system malfunction.”

Officials are asking residents and businesses to limit water usage only for essential needs while crews work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
