LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The Ragin’ Cajuns Downtown Alive event kicks off tonight, featuring a charity drive to support UL Lafayette students.
In partnership with Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, the event will collect donations of professional clothing to benefit the university's Career Closet.
"We are taking any kind of professional clothing," said Kim Billeaudeau, Director of Career Services at UL Lafayette. "So that’s, you know, suits, jackets, blazers, slacks, dresses, skirts, um, and then shoes, as well as ties."
The Career Closet initiative aims to provide UL Lafayette students with professional attire necessary for job interviews and career opportunities. Students can shop the Career Closet starting next week from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thanks for signing up!
