Neighbors are growing more frustrated with unfinished homes in the newest part of the Regency Heights neighborhood near U.S. 24 Highway and East Bundschu Road.

At least 18 homes are frozen in different phases of development after contractors stopped work when money ran out earlier this year. Advertisement

“It’s dangerous,” said Rachel Whitmire-Griffith, who lives one street away from the unfinished homes. “We want to have a neighborhood where our kids can walk around and play.”

Rob Clifton, president of Clifton Homes, is facing multiple lawsuits from investors and mechanic’s liens from contractors over what happened at the neighborhood.
