Syracuse, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl who lives on Syracuse’s North Side.

Alexis Rivera was reported missing from her home on Whitwell Drive, according to a Facebook post from the Syracuse Police Department on Friday night around 6:30 p.m.

She is described as a white female, about 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black Misfits T-shirt, black pants and pink Crocs, police said.

After being reported missing, Rivera was spotted in the 100 block of Spring Street, police said. She is also known to frequent Schiller Park and Lincoln Park.

Anyone who sees Rivera or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or (315) 442-5222.
