SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- The Syracuse Police Department is seeking the public's help to locate a missing girl.

In an evening Facebook post on September 5, Syracuse Police said 12-year-old Alexis Rivera has been reported missing from her home on Whitwell Drive in Syracuse.

Rivera is described as a white female, standing about 5'5" tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black Misfits t-shirt, black pants and pink Crocs.

After being reported missing, she was seen in the 100 block of Spring Street.

She is known to frequent the areas of Schiller Park and Lincoln Park.

Anyone who sees Rivera, or has any information on her whereabouts, is asked to call 911 or contact the Syracuse Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 315-4
