TEMPLE, Texas — Tracy and Justin Caple lost their 17-year-old son Riley to suicide. Amidst the heartbreaking loss, they've channeled their grief into a mission to end suicide.

Riley Caple was always looking for ways to help others, using whatever position he was in to support the people around him, according to his parents.

"He was an awesome kid," said mom Tracy, "He was a protector. He was a giver. He would give you the shirt off his back."

But Riley struggled. His parents say he would take less time for himself to help himself, which may have led to his tragic death.
