A Pontiac man has been charged with murder in connection with the deaths of his sister and her 12-year-old son inside their Hazel Park home.

Ladamien Keith Hill, 43, faces two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Linda Hill, 41, and Kardi Jackson, 12. Officers found the mother and son with their throats apparently slashed around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, according to a news release.

Linda Hill told a person she was on the phone with Monday afternoon that she had to hang up because her brother had just arrived, according to a news release from the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.

“This is a case of shocking and deplorable violence against a single mother and her son in their own home,” Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said in a statement.
