KINGMAN — The Mohave County Board of Supervisors wants a revision to the recruitment plan presented to find a replacement for retiring County Manager Sam Elters.

At Tuesday's meeting in Kingman, the board gave Elters and staff until the Oct. 6 to make revisions to a plan represented. Key changes: stating that the recruitment process would not involve use of an outside agency or consultant, to add elected county officials among those having an opportunity to serve on a screening panel that would recommend finalists for the board's consideration and assurance that the board itself will conduct the interviews with those finalists. ×
