ROSELAND, Ind. — A northern Indiana man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into alleged human trafficking.
According to a release from the St. Joseph County Police Department , on Monday, Sept. 1, officers were called to the Baymont Hotel in the town of Roseland on a report of an "unknown problem."
Dispatch later told officers that a woman was in the lobby of the hotel crying and saying that a man would not leave her alone. A short time later, dispatch told officers the woman had returned to a room with the man.
Once officers arrived at the hotel, they found 31-year-old Kevin Brazier, of Mishawaka, and a female victim. The victim initially told police she was "fine," but after police questioned her without Brazier's presence, the woman told police everything.
