Two Edinburgh teams will have revenge on their minds when the Scottish Padel Cup Finals take place at David Lloyd, Shawfair, today (Saturday, September 6) starting at 12.30.

First up will be Edinburgh Sports Club ladies who take on West of Scotland who beat them in the 2024 final.

Representing ESC are Desni McIntosh, Mhairi Wrench, Jo Cowie and Harriet Balloch.

In the men’s final Capital hopes rest on Barnton Park with a much changed team from the one that lost to West of Scotland 12 months ago.

The only remaining player from their line-up that day is Andy Burgess and he is joined by Calum Gordon, David Holmes and Will Lyburn.

* It’s a busy weekend for the Barnton Park club who hold their annual tennis finals on Sunday.
