TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - An arrest has been made in connection to the murder of 15-year-old Daydrian Brown, who was shot and killed in July at a house party in Midtown. A 20-year-old man is now facing first-degree murder charges.

Tucson police have confirmed the arrest of Katraun Devon McLendon for Brown’s murder. This marks a significant step for Brown's family as they seek justice.

Frances Federico, Brown's grandmother, expressed her grief over the loss during an exclusive interview with Chief Investigative Reporter Chorus Nylander on Thursday.

“It’s hard for me because I’m 80 years old and here he is getting killed at 15,” Federico said.

Brown’s mother, Dahlia Brown, shared her pain.

“It gets harder every day, harder every day,” said Dahlia.
