SUMTER, S.C. — Sumter Police say a man reported as missing has been found.

Police say the 39-year-old was located and is receiving medical attention.

Earlier Friday, policee had said the man was reported missing after he was last seen leaving Prisma Health Tuomey on Thursday, August 28. Police had said a family member filed the missing person report after not hearing from him since the hospital visit.
