The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 7:35 a.m. on Friday in effect until 10 a.m. for Southern Centre.

The weather service states to expect, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."

"Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility," explains the weather service. "Consider allowing extra time to reach your destination."
