A dense fog advisory blankets most of central Pennsylvania this morning. The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.
Temperatures on Friday afternoon will climb to five to eight degrees above normal, with a high in the Harrisburg area of 86, before a cold front moves through late tonight and Saturday.
The front is expected to bring scattered showers and maybe thunderstorms Saturday. The high temperature in the Harrisburg region is forecast to be around 79.
The primary weather concern is a heightened chance of thunderstorms, especially in the Susquehanna Valley and Western Poconos, with gusty winds and heavy rain.
