USA Triathlon has announced its 13th Hall of Fame class, honouring five individuals for their lasting impact on the sport. Among the inductees is Graham Fraser of Penticton, recognized for his transformative role in expanding triathlon across North America.
Fraser has been a driving force in the sport for over 30 years. He revitalized Ironman Canada in 1995 and went on to found Ironman North America, launching iconic races such as Ironman Lake Placid and Ironman Arizona. Through these efforts, he helped bring triathlon to mainstream audiences, including national television broadcasts.
Beyond racing, Fraser founded Suitcase Charlie Films and has contributed significantly to youth sports, serving as majority owner of the Penticton Vees hockey team and former chairman of the BCHL.
