Reid State Technical College hosted their inaugural career exploration event on Thursday to introduce multiple areas of career opportunities to high school students. Experience N.O.W or Experience “Navigating Opportunities in the Workforce” is a career exploration event, first of its kind at Reid State Technical College, geared towards high school students. With more than 1,000 10th and 11th-grade students across five Alabama counties. T he event f ocuses on Healthcare, Hospitality, Information Technology, Manufacturing and Transportation. Gathering students together with a goal to introduce them to career options that are waiting for them in our area. Students are made aware of several career options, those including those options that do not require a college degree.
