ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Payroll issues continue to frustrate employees of the Rochester City School District, with some former staff saying they haven’t received paychecks in weeks.

Kristen Baskowitz, a former RCSD teacher of 20 years, said this summer was supposed to bring her final paycheck from the district. Instead, she has gone more than a month without being paid.

“I haven't been paid since Aug. 8, which is becoming kind of a hardship,” Baskowitz said. “It's our actual paycheck. It's our livelihoods. And not one person has reached out to explain it.”
