GLEN DANIEL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The PikeView Panthers held on in a back-and-forth contest Friday night, edging the Liberty Raiders 38-30 on the road.

Both offenses found success in the high-scoring affair, but it was PikeView (2-0) that made the key plays down the stretch to secure the victory and remain unbeaten on the season.

Liberty (0-2) kept the pressure on until the final whistle, but couldn’t quite overcome the Panthers’ advantage.

With the win, PikeView heads home next week to host the Westside Renegades. Liberty will stay on its home field, looking to pick up its first win of the season against the Greenbrier West Cavaliers.
