The trend started from the song “Doot Doot (6 7)” by rapper Skrilla , where the numbers “6-7” are repeated in a catchy way. TikTok users quickly latched onto it, creating videos that spread the phrase even further. NBA star LaMelo Ball, who happens to be 6’7”, also became associated with it, helping it go viral, People said.

The funny thing is that “six-seven” doesn’t really have a concrete meaning. It’s intentionally nonsensical, used for playful or humorous effect, much like other viral slang such as “yeet” or “sus.”
