A mother and son from Meriden are allowed to fly back to the United States after being stuck in Israel for three weeks.

Intifada Abdelghani and her son Musa were supposed to travel back on Aug. 14, but a security ban was placed on Intifada's documents. The family claims they faced prejudice at the airport because they're Palestinian.

Mahar Abdelghani , Intifada's husband, said the ban was lifted on Friday and the two are trying to get on a flight out as soon as they can.
