NAPOLEON — A late touchdown proved to be enough offense for Anthony Wayne to take down Napoleon in a Northern Lakes League crossover game on the road in a defensive slugfest Friday night.
Porter Brungard found Cameron Miller for a 38-yard touchdown pass with 5:34 left in regulation for the only points of the game.
Brungard threw for 161 yards with a touchdown and an interception, Miller caught four passes for 100 yards, and Roman Morrison ran for 140 yards in the win for AW (2-1).
For Napoleon (1-2), Kelby Parsons ran for 66 yards and Paul Sausser caught four passes for 31 yards.
