COLUMBUS, Wis. --- It's called the Final Drive for a reason — because you've got to cruise a bit before we get to our Game of the Week. This one was a no-brainer. Lodi and Columbus are two of the heavyweights in our area. Both were playoff teams last year and undefeated coming into tonight.
But after tonight, that was going to have to change.
On the first drive of the game, the first score came from Peyton Power. He didn't need his power tonight — he had the speed, zipping and zagging his way past Lodi defenders to give Columbus an early lead that even their ticket takers Carroll and Jane couldn’t believe.
Later, it was more Cardinals as Powers used that powerful arm, pumping one downfield to find his man Jordan Mobry, who moved the chains and kept the momentum going.
