Harriet Barnsley Who Suffered Serious Injuries After Being Hit By A Car

When a speeding driver crashed into two friends waiting for a bus, one died instantly. The other was left in a coma and on the brink of death.

Rebecca McManus, who died at the scene, and best friend Harriet Barnsley were at a bus stop on their way to a hen do when tragedy struck on Hagley Road West in May 2014.

As Harriet, then 21, regained consciousness, she couldn't see, speak or move a single part of her body. Sukvinder Mannan had smashed his red Mitsubishi Evolution into the shelter at 101mph as he lost control in a street race with another driver.
