The Philadelphia Eagles got their 2025 season off on a good foot, defeating their division rival Dallas Cowboys, 24-20, in Thursday’s season opener .

Nazareth High School (Pa.) product and former Penn State star Jahan Dotson had a nice night, too, pulling down three catches for 59 yards. His 51-yard reception was the longest in the game.

Dotson has more good news heading his way this fall.

Nazareth announced it will retire his No. 5 jersey from high school during halftime of its Oct. 10 game against Bethlehem Catholic.

We are extremely proud to announce that we will be officially retiring the jersey of our own @JahanDotson at halftime of our home football game vs Bethlehem Catholic on Friday, October 10th. More details to follow. #JD5 #GoBlueEagles pic.twitter.com/6wgaMEHm
