ORANGE CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - This Friday, hundreds packed the stands at Korver Field in Orange City, Iowa to watch the crosstown rivals MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen and Unity Christian Knights square off on the gridiron.

But this Friday, it was about much more than just football.

On Monday, three MOC-Floyd Valley students, Kolten Hofmeyer, Bryleigh Koob, and Ashton Koob, were killed in a house fire in Granville, Iowa , about 11 miles from Orange City, another MOC-Floyd Valley student is still in critical condition.

In a joint effort, both schools decided to go ahead with their scheduled game on Friday night and unite for a whiteout. Spectators on both the Unity Christian and MOC-Floyd Valley sidelines wore white in remembrance of those students.
