PORT HURON — Here are the results from Friday's high school football games in the Blue Water Area.

Marine City 71, Madison Heights Madison 30

Jacob Holden rushed for 178 yards and four touchdowns to lead Marine City (1-1). The Mariners' 71 points are the most they've scored in one game since a 71-8 win over Algonac on Sept. 27, 1985.

Lyncoln Osterland added 106 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Tucker Volkman ran for 36 yards and two scores on five carries.

Marine City visits St. Clair at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12.

Almont 31, Imlay City 14

Matthew Bacholzky finished with 79 rushing yards and one touchdown for Almont (2-0). Brody Corneau added one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown.

The Raiders travel to Yale at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12.
