On Aug. 31, 2025, the St. George Orthodox Cathedral’s Shums ‘iL Bir Club celebrated their 100th anniversary with a gala at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, West Virginia. The club’s fund-raising efforts have provided thousand of dollars to area organization, churches and charities over the past century.
